When you see something....eye-opening? No, that's not the word...scrath, start over....
Paige, you fell into a raging hot fire Friday night at Blue Mesa and ended up with nothing more that a first degree burn on your cheek. And although it all happened so fast, the most amazing thing about it, is your Auntie mysteriously felt the need to put your hoody on just minutes before. They say that hair is the first thing to catch on fire and is the most flamable thing on your body (go figure, doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.) With your entire head and face consumed in the flames, you most undoubtly should have ended up in the ER, and probably would have had a long recovery to follow, at Children's Hospital. Thank God for the Holy Spirit revealing to us the things of nature and the instinct to obey. Never question your gut...to me, it's always been the Holy Spirit.
I know I may make mistakes in life...wether it be through raising you kids, through my own flesh, or hurtful words. But even through that I hope to always express a God who is quick to forgive and slow to anger.
Paige, God had angels right there with you, protecting you from the flames. And later that evening we enjoyed star-gazing under a nice, warm blanket on the beach in front of the all-consuming fire. For even in it's all-consuming flames , it gave me a vision of an all-consuming God who was right their consuming you in a blanket of protection.
"Second star to the right and straight on till morning, mom."
A journy of life with four
I only hope I can capture this life I so graciously am blessed with in words that you can enjoy for years ahead.

Twins Corner: The BIG one, or should I say two?
A month late and a few new memories behind, I will do my BEST to make the blogging memories happen, although they may not always be prompt in my case. Yet, better late than never?? That's a mommy thing :)
July 2, 2010: Caleb Joe and Simi bear turned one and boy was it one spectacular day. There was cupcakes, icecream, ballons...no wait, TONS of ballons, decor, guests, grandma's and grandpa's, FOOD, FOOD, and more FOOD!

The party was a smash. Nanny Kim helped decorate along with G&G Jauregui and G&G Fennewald. You boys weren't quite sure what to think of it all but I am pretty sure you knew this day was allll about you :) Your favorite was the ballons. I could have saved myself a lot of money and just bought you a bunch of ballons for your birthday, because that is pretty much all you played with.
The present opening was complete caous! (oh, I know I didn't spell that right, yet it's late and i don't care to look it up :) G and Paige had some friend over and they did most of the present opening for you. Although you were a little confused and tried your VERY BEST to get in on all the fun, you really just liked playing with(or eating, in Caleb's case) the wrapping paper.

Then there were toys, loud kids running, jumping, playing with the fire-poppers I bought for four. Year. Olds....to PLAY WITH. Wait, what was I thinking?! No, really it was a lot of fun. You two didn't seem to mind.
The cake and ice cream followed with the Jauregui tradition of shoveling a cake (or cupcakes, in your case) in the face...yes, I actually just said that. Ask your dad. But again, you really loved it and was it worth it?? Yes, sooo dang cute. So now I MUST insist when you have children of your own, to shove little cakes into your darling ones faces :) It will be magical?

Caleb, always a thumb in the mouth. Again, I love "firsts" and this was a great one :) What a day and a HUGE year to look back a reflect for me. Yes, now I shall finish on a mushy paragraph or two...
I always said I wanted twins, yet never knew the patience, the strength, the exact amount of love that was needed for caring for two seperate individuals at the same time and yet that's just it. I don't need to know how much patience is needed, I just need to ask for it daily (even hourly sometimes!). I certainly don't know the amount of "strength" needed (how does anyone measure that? I feel a song coming on) only that the strength needed is is there when I ask for it from my only source of strength. And the amount of love? Wow, it's never divided, it's split in two, it's quantum-sized by the love of you both. Love is never divided with twins, and that was always a fear of mine, it's doubled.
Happy birthday to two very special people. I can't wait to see you grow.
Lights out.

Twins Corner: Oh goodness birthday fun!
Oh goodness, mommy is being a little rediculous about my excitment for Caleb and my Simi bears first birthday. But am happy to admit, I go crazy over all the "firsts"; not only G and Paige's first birthdays, but first smiles, first crawl, and especially that first wave and first clap. THAT has got to be the cutest thing on earth. Simi, you did both of those on May 14th, and Caleb, Mr. Chill, you shared your first wave with the world on June 7 and your first claps on June 18th.
I am throwing a big birthday bash (love to do that for the firsts) and have found the perfect theme.
Oh yes, cute little safarie animals. I know that when you read this when you get older, you will probably, (no wait) you will make fun of your old mom and I will love it :) But, to my defense, just wait till you have kids of your own and you will understand someday....(as I type more blogs, you will probably see me type that phrase a lot! Darn.) But is it ohhh sooo true. I love you boys to pieces and God could not have blessed me with a happier set of twins. OK, you've both had your moments and I've had to pray for "happiness, happines, happiness" many a times, but honostly you guys have been great. Lover bugs, bears, sweet peas, and joy.
oh, ok, I'm getting carried away, so back to my excitement. Here are your cute little invites:
adorable :)
Look out for July 2nd, Friday's Fun Factor. Will be one to remember and I am so excited. Here are some more fun pictures I took of you two.

Bitter-sweet potty Training?
Well, I ask myself how can potty training be bitter sweet? I was completely thrilled when G was successfully potty-trained at two and a half. And now it's my Paiger's turn. We have spent the last 2 grueling (but totally rewarding) days, potty-training and I do believe she has got the concept. G was so successful with "How the Potty Train in One Day", that I carried over that method with Paige (http://www.potty-training-in-one-day.com/) Wha-la, again, a complete success. Yes, there will be "maintenance" over the next week or so, but she has pretty much gotten it figured out, and oh baby girl, I'm so proud of you.
Although it's tedious, it's wonderful to spend a day and a half of one-on-one time with your child. No children to get distracted by, no tv, no babies, just her and I. We read books, colored, brushed each others hair endlessly, sang songs and played "patty-cake" till we dropped while she sat patiently on the potty for 10 minutes at a time throughout the day. What patience it required from both of us, but what a MAJOR bonding experience.... and rediculously enough, I am crying.
SWEET: my little girl is successfully potty trained; I could shout "HOORAY" from the rooftops for hours! (no more stinky poopy diapers!!!) BITTER: my little girl is growing up. All apart of life, but a reminder that they don't stay young forever. I wasn't this "bitter, sweetly" sad when G got potty trained; maybe because he is a boy? I don't know.
Last night after G fell asleep on the couch upstairs (Friday-fun factor and slumber party night!), you wanted to come down and watch movies with dad and I. I didn't resist this time. I held you in my arms during the movie, we ate ice cream, and then we fell asleep in bed together. I just don't get enough of those with you, precious girl. What a grueling two days; we just deserved it.

A part of my heart hurts a little today, but in a good way Miss Paige :) You and I are close; soul sisters and I'm so proud of your major accomplishment. You did great. What a wonderful 2 days we have shared together. I love you, deeply.
All in all, you can't put a price on this potty-training thing! Potty Patty doll: $39.95, M&M's for "treats": $3.95 (Yes, I bought a big bag so I could finish them after our training :), cleaning carpet solution: $6.95 (didn't need much!), patience: LOTS, success: yes! Bonding with my girl: priceless, and rewarding.

April 2010 BP oil spill near LA.
My heart breaks as I hear and read more and more about the worst oil spill in history near the New Orleans coast in Louisina. Not only does it break for the 11 families that lost a loved one that died on the ship but for the countless animals that will be affects as well as the business owners who make an intire lively -hood on the fishing, shrimping, oystering, and restraunts. What a disater. They are all in my prayers.
G and Paige, you both love to pray for others and get genuinly concerned when you hear of disasters that happen around the globe. For a week, G prayed for the little children that lost a daddy in the West Virginia coal mining accident that happened at the beginning of April. The Lord has MUCH to say about His little Children and HEARS every prayer spoken by such. You children are a blessing to so many.

Friday's Fun Factor
(New at the whole blogging thing and first off-can't figure out how to roatate the picture...oh well, you will just have to turn your head sideways.)
"Family Fun night", which you kids ADORE, well at least G and Paige, (sorry babies, your family nights are still a ways off :) happen most every Friday night and are filled with takeout, movies, candy, and most often slumber parties! Now that we live north of town, we have a bon-fire pit and the kids love to love to LOVE to have bon-fires allll...summer....long. It being April, it is still a bit cold out, yet all the snow is gone, so G decides it is time for our first bon-fire of the season which would not be complete without smores. Well the day started off pretty warm, but by the end it was windy and nasty! That did not stop the clan from the bon-fire. G is ridiculously ready for summer and knew this would kick it off even faster.
We had our night filled with wind, smores, spits of rain here and there and of course the wonderful after-glow of leaving our clothes smell of bon-fire ash. Pizza=$12.50, Smores= $6.19, wood=$3.50, fire started=$1.19, rain=free, wind=free, family fun?=PRICELESS. Wouldn't trade it for anything. The kids love it, and so do we.

Jersey's, summer clothes, and basketball fun
As I went and pulled out G's "summer" clothes yesterday at the shop, most of the clothes pulled Basketball jersey and basketball shorts. I collected all the shorts, jersys, Tshirts, and more and put them in a Grocery bag in the back of the car. G, sitting in his back seat carseat, asked "mommy, what are those?" and as I explained to him THEY were his summer clothes, he got soooo excited. G Always gets excited over new things, wether THEY are "new" or "used new", THEY are always new to him:) It's pretty cute.
Anyways, on the way home, I had to stop off at the post office to mail some bills and while in the post office (keep in mind, it was probably a minute or less), he proceeded to get some clothes out of the bag and put them on. By the time I got back in the car he had 3 shirts on! 2 were jersy's.
Duke, mommy's absolute favorite college basketball team ever, they just won the 2010 NCAA tournament just a week prior, and of course, I was excited about that. I told him, after THEY won, I would buy him a Duke jersey. So, after putting the jersey on, he said "look mom, you got me my Duke Jersey!"
After we all got home, he was SOOOO excited to play some basketball, yet it was snowing outside, so we pretend played in the living room with Paige's Stuffed baby girraffe. All three of us. The babies watched while THEY drank there mid-morning bottles.
G tried on every jersey in that bag that morning and kept calling himself "jersey" pretend when playing basketball. What fun:)
Seems simple, but worth the report. He wore that jersey (along with the other 3 shirts Underneath) for the rest of the day .... and today!
I would have Loved to have posted a picture I took of him in his jersey's, but unfortunetly I somehow deleted all my pictures off the camera from the last few weeks including Easter: (
I love you guys.
